NS Vendor Chair

Responsibilities:

  • With the show chair, determine the space to be used for vendors.
  • Draw out an appropriate floor plan for vendors using the 10×10 spaces as the most often used.
  • Solicit appropriate vendors for our NS keeping in mind that two people selling one specific product will do half the business of just one selling the item and often they are then disappointed in their sales or, if one has a superior product the other makes few sales.
  • Get signed contracts and payments in advance for the vendors. For many years we have charged $2 a square foot for vendors
  • Check with the state/city/county for any paperwork or licenses that might be required.
  • Set up the spaces and oversee move in of vendors.
  • Give list of vendors to the Web Admin to list on page or social media.

Qualifications:

  • Member in good standing of the CWCCA
  • Able to meet the timeline as outlined below.
  • Must be able to attend the NS

Timeline:

One year prior to the National Specialty:

  • Begin soliciting vendors

Before the show begins:

  • Lay out the area for vendors so that it is ready when they arrive.

During the show:

  • Monitor the vending area so that it is clean and inviting and there are no problems.

After the National Specialty:

  • Write a report fand submit it to the CWCCA BOD within 6 weeks of the end of the NS.
  • Make sure the area used is cleaned up and any trash put in the area desired by the venue

Editing Your Breeders' Directory Listing

Click on the green line that says “Click here to Edit Your Listing”:

You Breeders Directory Listing will open in a new tab.

At this point it is very similar to editing a word document.  At the top you will see icons related to text size, and in order those for Bold, Italic, Underscore, and Text color.  Edit as desired.  We suggest that if you are adding time-sensitive details that you add a line for the date that you have updated the listing.

When you are finished, just close the tab using the X at the top.

Change Info

Please log in again in to access form.

On the check out screen, enter in the box under Additional information, Order notes.

Editing Tables and Lists

Start by scrolling to the bottom of the table or list and clicking the Edit Rows button. Some frequently edited tables (e.g. dues entry) will come up already in the Editing mode.

The button line will change to New Row and Cancel. A pencil and a trashcan will appear to the left of each item.

Clicking on the trash can will delete a row, but you will receive a warning and confirmation box.

Clicking on the pencil will allow you to edit the data.

Scroll down to see all fields.

When you are done click on Update. If you decide not to change the record click on Cancel. And if you want to both update this record and add a new row you can click Apply and Add New.

Adding a new row works the same. You can Add a single record or keep adding by clicking Apply and Add New.

When you are finished you can click Cancel at the bottom of the table to make the pencils and trash cans disappear, though there is not really a reason to do so.
